US surfski champs race. There's always something to be terrified of on this course, i.e. current, breaking waves, cliffs, sharks, container ships, etc, but it's such an adrenaline rush to be out there. |

Lots of bike racing, XC skiing, ice speedskating, inline skating, and soccer in the past. 2:57 p.r. for marathon-(running) before I got fat and slow. Does 3 kids count? |
| What you like about surfskis, surfski racing, paddling: |
There's something special about catching and linking up waves on a surfski - even tiny waves are fun. Actually, going upwind is fun, too. Otherwise, injuries are rare, virtually no equipment maintenance, can't get run over by a car. |
