Favorite Surfski Race, Why?

US Surfski Champs - only done it once but won the Sr. Masters Div. Not the most fun race, but it sure has all the challenges one could ask for on the water. Probably my favorite because mentally it was the toughest and I was happy with my performance.
Main Training Partner if any:

Jim Baumann - He's mentally tough and just doesn't know when to quit.
Racing Accomplishments

US Surfski Champs Sr Master winner 2007, Bay to Bay top 3 for 3yrs. Usually win my division in local races.
Other Significant Athletic Accomplishments:

Was a decent swimmer as a kid - surfed and did sprint triathlons until I found paddling in my "old age"
What you like about surfskis, surfski racing, paddling:

Every day on the water is different and the constant search for good technique keeps me focused. There's nothing as much fun as a wide open downwind run. No crowds, no cars, no hassles.
