How long have you been paddling?

 I started paddling sea kayaks for recreation in 1999. Andy Gerber got me to switch to surfkis in 2005 and I have never looked back. I also started paddling OC-6 in 2006 and K1 in 2007.

Favorite Surfski Race, Why?

West Coast Offshore FL Series. We have such a great group of paddlers from all skill levels. It is great to see everyone improve at each race.

Finishing a race with my wife in our Double Ski and her not killing me ;o)

What you like about surfskis, surfski racing, paddling:

Downwind Runs, the only way to surf on the west coast of FL!!! What I really enjoy most is the great people you meet through paddling. We have a great group of paddlers here in FL who are all passionate about our sport. Our local races are like big family get-togethers.
